Looking Back on 2016
It is not uncommon to become sentimental this time of year. The close of the year causes us to reflect upon what we have learned, how we have grown, what we have gained or lost, and what we look forward to in the year to come. People may also lean toward fussy or frustrated by things that didn't turn our how they had planned or in their inability to keep last year's resolutions. I urge you to take with you only the good things into the next year. Let tonight be a celebration of letting go of the rest.
As I sat and reflected on my own year, I had mixed feelings. It had certainly not been a great year for many reasons, but it had also somehow been one of the best. I spent some time combing through photos from the last twelve months and realized just how lucky I am to be surrounded by so much beauty as a part of my day to day job. I have put together a collection of photos from my 2016 weddings to share with you, because, well, I like sharing.
To all the couples I worked with this year (and all previous years), thank you for letting me participate in such an exciting part of your life. I enjoy every single minute of it. To all my fellow wedding industry professionals, you inspire and motivate me every day. You are all so incredibly talented and wonderful. To everyone else, thank you for keeping my noggin on straight and caring for me in new and interesting ways every day. I love you to bits.
Cheers! xoxo
